Girl's Wrestling, Just Beginning

In the fall of 2022, the school proudly introduced a Girls Wrestling program, recognizing the growing popularity of the sport. Girl’s wrestling had been gaining momentum across the state, and it was a natural fit for Wilton to embrace this exciting opportunity. The program is led by Coach Dakota Hargrave-Lamaack, with Assistant Coach Shane Boorn, both of whom are committed to building a competitive and inclusive team.

Today, Wilton’s wrestling program continues to thrive, with a rich history of success and a bright future ahead. From its beginnings under Jack Lowther to the introduction of girls wrestling, the program reflects the community’s dedication to fostering athletic excellence and supporting its student-athletes.
